Happy Labor Day! This quick snippet was captured by my momma @elizabethbackstrom of my dad, @shohrehkhalilova and I catching a fat L on the river yesterday. Tubing is all about balance in order to avoid obliteration. My dad failed to lean right which caused the tube to capsize at high speed. After the crash I was afraid my dad broke his neck because he is 71 years old! But he took the wipeout like a champ and didn’t complain but rather told me after how much fun he had tubing with me and my girl. This was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. It was also Sho’s first time tubing. She wanted to keep going even after this crazy wipeout, which I was afraid would scar her... but it did the opposite🤣 BTW instead of taking my dad to the ER, my dad chose to self medicated with a Vodka Martini which worked well.
