Raise your hand if you did NOT hit all of your goals for 2019? 🙋🏽‍♀️ Because just like that we are seeing Halloween decorations and pumpkin spice everywhere, reminding us that the year is almost over. Then it's the New Year’s resolutions and "New Year, New Me" bullshit. Why we try to convince ourselves that rolling into a new year will suddenly change everything, I have no clue. And we make excuses for why the year before us sucked. Never really blaming ourselves for our own actions or acknowledging the good that did actually happen. There are so many goals I set for myself and learned that it has to be broken down into daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. Not "I'm gonna make a billion dollars in 2020, lose 100 pounds, and travel the world" cuz we've all been there with that generic talk. Get into a habit of writing down your goals. Your dreams. Your plan and action of how you can obtain them. Writing it down and seeing it DAILY really does fucking help.
And take a step away from all of the social media bullshit of what everyone else is doing, how much they are making (or what they sayyyyy they are making) and where they are in their life. That's them. Not you. Don't compare your life to theirs because we all have our own triumphs but we also ALL have our own demons and struggles.
Just make sure while you're writing everything down that your heart desires, make sure you are also writing down everything that you are grateful for. Every. Damn. Day 🙏🏻❤️🙌🏼 Thank you for my "gratitude & goals" journal @1stphorm ✨My #phamily is in it often 💙
