It was a deep assessment of where I have been, what I’ve been through, where I am, where I want to go and who I want to go with on the rest of this journey. I made the decision to speak out against injustices not only inflicted upon me but, on others. I have always sought to protect those who need protection and I believe that is where my passion lives; in this calling to protect and to hold those who abuse and harm accountable. I didn’t ask to be on this path - none of us did. But, you have my word that I will continue to fight for what is just and right and I will help rebuild this industry into what we all believed it to be: one of inspiration, dreams, magic, and representative storytelling; an industry where we can all pursue our dreams in safety and create art that reflects the world we live in everyday. The wonderful artists who have supported me are those who are equally passionate about service and charity and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get choked up after reading every single one.
