Today, The Duke of Sussex attended the 118th Rugby Football League Men’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.

As Patron of the RFL and RFU, roles he actively embraces, The Duke has continued to keep a close eye on Rugby League’s most historic competition and was excited to attend this tradition that’s been celebrated for 118 years.
The Challenge Cup, a tournament that ranges across wheelchair, female and male competitors (and features amateur, semi-professional and professional clubs) makes it the only knock-out tournament of its kind to include teams from all levels of sport.
Well done to everyone who competed and contributed to this year’s RFL Challenge Cup! The competition is a great example of inclusivity, sportsmanship and community, and the opportunity for players and clubs of different backgrounds to work and play together in the spirit of sport.

@jacy_62 Airlines do this all the time, especially when there is a mechanical failure or bad weather. I've had to wait at the airport when my incoming flight was late and another plane was sent to get us. This is nothing new. I doubt the decision was made due to the Cambridges taking the flight. Would you rather of had them take a private plane when they prefer to mingle with real people? They've done this before. Kate even goes shopping herself to pick up items for her family. Why does this bother you?

@sara.k837 you do realize the hypocrisy you’re mentioning is the same exact thing William & Charles did right ? & since when is meghan included in this ? She wasn’t even at the climate change summit so for you to blame her for something she didn’t even do speaks volumes about u being biased

@natasha.r_h Meghan has been estranged with her siblings since she was a child & her dad has sold her personal info to the tabloids numerous times which has been the sole reason of problems while she’s been a royal so how is she the issue. Logically explain 👂

@elisabethjkg The airline gave a statement saying that they flew a specific plane down especially to ensure the Cambridge's were seen in it as it had their livery on. I've explained what I'm not happy with already & have no intention of going through it again.

@ericetenid well you are the one who @ me! So you obviously gave one then 🙄 it's 450 miles by the way from Norwich to Aberdeen not 100. So = 900 round trip for 2 empty flights that weren't needed until the Cambridge flight was booked last minute.
