“On this day, I took the earliest train to Chidorigafuchi but still missed the sunrise. I was a little bummed but once I arrived, I saw how the harsh light was actually a benefit. It made the cherry blossoms sparkle while also creating a dramatic reflection. What an unexpected moment!”

Harsh light may not be the enemy 💀 of all photographers if you learn to embrace it at times! When shooting under direct sunlight 🌤️, try exposing for highlights instead as the shadow details are more easily retained ✨
