Done with the help of our dear friend John Wolf @wolfhomedesign. I can’t explain how she did it. I can’t even fully explain what she actually did — as I haven’t fully grasped it myself yet (some five days later). All I can say is I’m completely in awe of my wife. Our home was transformed into a journey through my life. From my childhood, to my teenage years, to my adulthood, even to my parenthood — by including my son @lijah_wahlberg and celebrating his 18th bday with just as much love and care she did mine. I’ll never fit all the details into this post — I can only say that the guests and performers included people that could only have been selected by my soul mate. Only my soul mate would move mountains to get @bigfreedia to be there — knowing how much it would truly mean to me. Only my soul mate would not only get my old friend @stubbsthechiefrocka to spin but also @dnice — knowing how much I admire his work and his spirit. Only my soul mate would not only get @blacksheepdres there to perform The Choice is Yours — but she would also perform the freaking song herself to show me how my love of hip hop has inspired her love of it as well. Only my soul mate could recruit my guys @kmaher56, @kevllama and @jaredaripaul to pull it all off! And only my soul mate would go above and beyond to make sure my son Elijah (her step son) felt just as special on this day as she made me feel on mine — doing all she could to get @itsnoahvera, @thespencersotelo, @htpimd, @stanleyrrandolph and @jonathanrknight (Elijah’s favorite New Kid) to the party as well.
