South Korea’s Lee Duck-hee made history this week as the first deaf tennis player to win an ATP Tour main draw match at the Winston-Salem Open.

Lee made his debut on the ITF Futures Tour at 14 and won eight titles before he turned 18, as well as making three finals on the ATP Challenger Tour.
He reached number 212 on the official ATP rankings this year.

He hopes his recent success will inspire other hearing-impaired athletes.
