It’s taken us some time to practice and understand this. Jack and Zoe felt the stress of our early years; Dental school, suffocating loans, business building, work travel. It’s been a journey, but we are on the path.

rycz1 So true, especially as time goes on. Family stresses become greater, worries become larger and life becomes harder. Realizing how important it is to appreciate each other when you can and to say the nice things you are thinking, even if it means surrendering the "upper hand" for a round or 2. The tribe you create and cultivate is your legacy. So preach love, support, honesty and forgiveness when you can. It is not always easy but it's a choice that I have to consciously choose everyday. But the older I get the easier it seems to get and it is always worth it. Just look at how your children treat each other(most of the time) and others and you will know you are on the right path♡

nico_inreal_life @mommasgonecity I think so many of us function under the assumption that the state in which we experience people now is the static state that they’ve always been in. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Thank you for reminding us that getting there, wherever “there” might be, takes time and resilience and patience and hard. work.

emmahelenbw That's nice and all but I feel like you need to be more transparent about all the facts around *exactly* how many hours of domestic help you get a week because if you didn't have a cleaner you probably couldn't keep your man happy and blah blah blah 🙄 you guys are adorbs 😍
