Honestly, I’ve never felt comfortable showing a sexy side or embracing my body. Let alone wearing crop tops & dancing at the club. It’s still not me in real life & I’m definitely sitting in sweats writing this post but that’s one of my favorite things about acting. The challenge of stretching yourself, creating characters & being vulnerable. I don’t think I’ve ever watched anything I’ve done & actually felt or thought - “she’s cool or sexy”. I didn’t think I could ever really be that. Maybe it’s growing up as an Asian American in America & feeling so repressed. Feeling like “I can’t”. Anyways, I’m glad I trusted the creatives involved who helped me embrace being a sexy strong woman. It makes me really proud of the team.
