vera.profitt At the Oregon Zoo we have an amazing program working with other zoos and programs who have been helping restore the California Condor population since they almost went extinct in the 80's. At their lowest there were 22 California Condors left in the wild. They were caught, bred, and now their population is soaring (quite literally) at over 500. Just an example of how these things really do make big changes.

swejah You know what is the leadig cause of species extinction? Animal agriculture. I did'nt believe this at the beginning and You don't have to believe me, just do some research on this topic. Everyone of us can help endangered species by eating a plant-based diet. 💚

despayre1 Of course! Trying to roll this back will be the death of endangered animals in the US. The idea that we can subsist without them is ludicrous. We must all speak up against this.... We have saved so many species in 50 years, let’s not roll back times.
