Liverpool were there for the taking today, imo. They were well below par following a tough midweek game. Salah and Mane (apart from his goal) were average. Starting with 5 at the back was pretty negative from the Saints, and their right back is simply not up to PL standard based on today’s performance. The forwards offered nothing but they service was poor to be fair. Saints centre mid pairing were great though, and deserved more for their efforts. A long season ahead.

First half was class, just lacking the quality to finish chances. But the big issue is that we can’t win games conceding so easily. We aren’t a regular 3 goal a game attack. And can someone tell Djenepo that we aren’t a club for diving...

Good effort, unlucky not to get a point. Sure they could have made more of the chances but I saw lots of things to give me hope. Great partnership between Adams and Redmond, good defending at times and a willingness to press.

We didn’t get thrashed that’s a plus but we fell well short of the mark of strikers we bought che who some how can’t find the back of the net and ings got a goal but missed a 6 yard sitter a lot of work needs doing

We played so much better today we should of took our chances could of easily got back to 2-2 or evan 3-2 we march on tho so much better then last week love the new back boards aswell up the saints 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
