Scientists are calling for at least 30% of the world's oceans to be protected as ocean sanctuaries by 2030. If nothing is done the consequences are devastating to ocean health. I grew up by, and still live by the sea. It’s heartbreaking seeing with my own eyes what is happening to our oceans. What we can do ? Use our voice. Make a conscious effort to eliminate plastics from our lifestyle. Pick up litter on our beaches. Live sustainably. The ocean is a provider, culturally important and a lifeline to many, we have to protect it. Humans = destruction , there’s no doubt about it.
