I remember when we just had 20 kids before opening BJWT, it was incredible. I still remember bottle feeding Karma and her siblings. I was so proud. Fer Puente, Rachel, Nanny Eli, Vero and Catalina started with BJWT since the very beginning. For a year, it was all ecstasy until that tragic October when Karmita left her body. Then, I understood what real pain is. I would have killed myself if I didn’t have the rest of the kids. 10 months after I rescued Cielo, Fer, Catalina and I formally opened BJWT, the biggest pain in the neck possible, but with the biggest Blessings ever. I miss those times but this is not about my feelings, or even about the Animals, it is about creating enough awareness to #SaveOurPlanet After I recovered from Karmita leaving her body, the work continued. And even though we’ve been hit with some almost unbearable hits, like losing Labaito, Generalito, Onixita and Billito, and Mafaldita, we have been able to make the lives of hundreds of Animals way better and of millions of people a little bit more enjoyable.
