Gracias por tu fuerza! It breaks my heart every day. I wish I knew what to do or where to start, this gives me hope. Change needs to start somewhere, and it can start with our Latino leaders who have a platform & influence, to speak up for our Latino brother and sisters whose voices are oppressed and cannot he heard. I stand with you✊🏽 If this happened to my abuelos, I wouldn’t exist. This has had a horrible ripple effect that has changed the course of fate for current Latino immigrants.

Beyond proud of your leadership America! I’m a Salvadoran native who immigrated here under asylum in the early 80’s. I will never forget the trauma of that journey, but these days the added layer of disgusting political hate towards our brown communities is beyond comprehension. Thank you for leading and being part of this effort. Words do matter.
