hannahmmoreau Hi Rachel :) I hope your heart is feeling full today. I am reaching out to you today because I am 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby, due Sept 8! 🤗 I listen to your podcasts religiously, and today while listening to the latest episode... it just hit me. I can’t think of anything that would bring me more strength and light than a podcast based around women’s ability to birth a baby. Like that is friggin AMAZING! I am currently organizing my music, etc. that i know will help me through a (hopefully) natural labour and delivery. I know your podcasts are from the heart and you often don’t have a plan of what you want to open up about - however - I was really hoping you would entertain the idea of creating your next podcast episode with my labour and delivery in mind... I know this is a lot to ask and will completely understand if this is not something that resonates with you right at this moment. You are a beautiful person and a beautiful mother and I really do look up to you. It would be incredibly special for me to have your words of strength in my delivery room to bring my baby into this world. Please think about it :) and regardless of what you choose to speak about, I look forward to the next Yoga Girl podcast xx

lauradimon I’d be curious to hear thoughts/feelings about social media and kids, posting pics of them, etc. The stats are pretty mind-blowing... the average parent posts 1500 pics before the kid’s 5th birthday! (Of course, the child has no consent). On a darker note, it can lead to some scary stuff, like “digital kidnapping,” identity theft, or images of your child ending up on a site where they don’t belong. And yet, posting photos of children is just becoming so normal that I’m wondering if this will be one of those things that 20 years from now we look back and scratch our heads? On the one hand, many parents view it as a harmless way to share bits of their life. On the other hand, some parents feel very strongly that “kids aren’t content.” I’m sure this is something so many parents are wondering about and trying to navigate, and a convo with an expert could be really informative

I have started listening on my way to therapy every Tuesday night, and somehow the thing you’re processing and working on is the thing I also need to process and work on, so you have been fueling my therapy sessions.
