I came home to find myself a single parent when I’d been engaged my entire adult life. With a post-pregnancy body that made me cry my eyes out, bandages, stitches, painkillers that made me sick and the inability to lift or hold my own children my life was the lowest it could ever be. Every part of my body mind and soul was hurting and all that I could think was “Why me? What have I ever done to deserve this suffering?” I felt broken, tired, weak, emotionally exhausted, suffocated by responsibility, crippled by bills and freaked out about the thought of raising a young family entirely alone on a single income. I thought that my “life” was no longer mine, I lost everything that I had and didn’t know how to start over. But in times of great struggle we find our greatest strength - so I set myself goals. Day by day and piece by piece I was reborn, happier, healthier and stronger than ever before. My biggest tragedy turned into my biggest freedom and I discovered what life was like away from an abusive and controlling relationship. I found my spark, I found my smile and my soul was eternally lifted. Just a handful of years later I now have everything that I could ever have wished for and more, the life of my dreams and almost 4million followers for which I will be forever grateful and humbled by. I’ve grown from not being able to make eye contact with people to now speaking in front of a worldwide audience with ease.
