Morning peeps. 😁 went to see #onceuponatimeinhollywood last night and I’m still trying to work out how I feel about it . I absolutely love a lot of the individual scenes and of the belly laughs. Leonardo DiCaprio is phenomenal. Taratino’s foot fetish is literally in your face lol 👣 one reviewer said you need some patience with your popcorn and I would absolutely agree with that. Very long scenes of car journeys, walking shots and horse riding. After about an hour I mouthed to my mate ‘ So slow’ But I wouldn’t have not seen it because I bloody love movies and I really enjoy his work. I think it’s a grower. Have you seen it yet? @msmelaniesykes I loved it don’t think it was too long at all the end is brilliant I think YouTube and Netflix has killed peoples attention spans but Tarantinos attention to detail is impeccable the music and the cinematography are superb and that scene with leo and the little girl was amazing it’s not my favourite film of his but probably still better than what most people would put out I think Quentin is one of a very few directors in which you get a proper cinematic experience with and let’s hope for cinemas sake he don’t hang it up at 10

I agree with your comments 100%, we saw it last night but I was disappointed because I was expecting the life story of Sharon Tate. Seriously not to ruin it for everyone but I thought the ending was slightly over the top and unrealistic and it was like 20 different Leonardo movies “stitched” together. Brad would have definitely crashed that car as he wasn’t looking at the road for long expanses of time. 😂 Think Tarantino has a Leo fetish...

Seen it on Wednesday night here in Stirling @msmelaniesykes, loved it too, I’m a huge fan of Leonardo not only in his intensely talented ability to act but also his movement in world awareness of climate change. he did not disappoint. I agree that some of the scenes were drawn out however the whole 3 hours in total in the cinema passed soo fast ! I was shocked when it ended however very relieved I did not need to endure Sharon Tates death 😶

It's definitely a grower. After 4 watches it's becoming one of my new favorites. But, After the first,I also felt it was too long. On repeated viewing I didn't find the Pacino or driving scenes too long.(I did find some of the sharon Tate's scenes to be redundant and skippable though. Even if I realized they were meant to humanize her). That ending just elivates everything so much that it all becomes worth it

Saw this yesterday and feel 50/50 about it. I think this was a film for actors and not the public. The nuances within the industry will have been missed by most but its clear to see QT paying tribute to all the things he likes about film. Shame it had no real storyline however so, for me, doesnt deserve the title of the best film QT has ever made. That said, it doesnt need a second watch.

Just watched this yesterday and it was very slow and weird. Just not your typical tarantino movie but it was funny and di caprio was awesome. Defo tarantino’s foot fetish was in there a lot and hairy armpits. I love movies like every week i need to go see something. This is a good watch but dont be expecting the usual Tarantino movie genre. Defo a grower 👌🏽 @msmelaniesykes
