Just got word that my Lebanese Brother Samer took his first steps after 3 months. Samer had a ski accident and fell 14 m off a cliff causing multiple fractures.
When we were racing through Europe trying to qualify for the Winter Olympics, Samer was one of the guys who was always full of positivity pushing for us to qualify.
Brings a little tear to this hardened face watching him walk again. Taking those first few steps is something both scary and exciting. Something that we will all have to take through different stage of our life. This guy continues to inspire me!
