Today marks 6 months since my surgery to repair my Achilles’ tendon. About a month and a half ago, I discovered I could do right foot based jumps (loop, flip and lutz) with no pain, so I decided that I wanted to try and land a triple because that’s what all retired skaters do, right? After about 8 tries, I landed one!
So grateful to everyone for all their support through out my recovery. I feel so blessed to have come as far as I have in such a short amount of time. Also a shout out to @marybesson for coming with me to cheer me on and drive me to the hospital if I died.
