Feeling all kinds of gratitude this morning on my way to the office - getting to work alongside some of the most passionate, creative and dedicated people I know.

We were just named one of @fastcompany’s 50 Best Workplaces For Innovators. Which is wild! But also one of the things that I loved and drew me to @charitywater in the first place, 6+ years ago. Where innovation isn’t just a buzzword but it’s a part of our culture and values.

There are all kinds of creative and inspiring projects in the world. But something I learned at a young age is it’s not about a big shiny job, company or recognition - but what’s most important is finding value and meaning in what you do.

I still remember my first real job, working retail, and how I found so much purpose in helping people find clothes that they loved and made them feel amazing. How a warm smile and a friendly ‘how are you?’, could make someone feel seen and turn their day around.

Wherever you are and whatever you do today, I hope you can find the value and meaning in it too.
