“Feminism has no gender. Real men are feminists” 💭 what’s your opinion about it ? Cause I’ve been in a group of girl (a big group in Mtl that I won’t name) they called themselves feminists but they kept bashing on men, they excluded them. Once, a male representant went on scene to talk about the movement and before even opening his mouth everyone was screaming at him and didn’t let him talk. I was disgusted and never went back. I personally think that is not feminism

chxrlotte.brl I think that feminism isn’t about preferring one gender but about equality for all genders and people, but many „feminists“ think it‘s exactly the opposite which is a big misunderstanding. The real feminism is that men use their power not against women but to fight for equality. But not only men should use their power in the right way also women since there have been also cases of assault by women against men. So it‘s basically all genders working together to change the world for the better and fight for equal rights and equal opportunities for everyone! I‘m not a feminist myself but I think it‘s important to not make fun of the REAL feminists but support them and help them achieve their goal.

megane.legault Être féministe c’est l’égalité des deux sexes, on est partie de la femme qui est inférieure, mais ça aurait pu être l’inverse. L’idée c’est seulement de maintenir une ligne 0 entre les deux! Si le féminisme était inversé que les femmes seraient avantagées face aux hommes, est-ce que certaines d’entre nous se lèveraient pour rétablir la même égalité? lovecomesaveme I actually believe that man and women are equal and i believe in feminisim. However, i don’t name myself a “feminist” because i dont want to be a part of the people who call themselves feminists but still talk trash about man or even don’t know what feminism is. If i call myself a feminist i would own everything other feminists do because “we all support the same thing” when we label ourselves as feminists.

shilohkon I like that you bring this up. It's so true that this is a problem. Like your bf commented, equality needs to be considered for both genders. I've seen this hapoen before too unfortunately, I've been to several leadership, etc. events where they talked about social issues, and unfortunately many people were attacked like this
