I’m catching my LAST flight with Emirates. I boarded a 2.15am Dubai-Sydney flight today with my family. My 4 year old son was overtired from a previous long flight and vomited. We were immediately removed from the flight and sent to the medical centre. He was quickly cleared as there was nothing wrong with him which I explained to the cabin crew.
We missed our flight and I’ve just been re-booked on the next flight which is in 7hrs and is costing me AUD700!
I asked to speak to the connections desk supervisor to kindly ask for access to the Lounge so my son can at least sleep in a soft chair for the next 7hrs.
He, Romeo Izwan, couldn’t even be bothered walking out of the office to speak with me, he sent someone else to say NO.
I am disgusted with Emirates customer service.
As a regular traveller from Australia to Europe - I won’t be travelling with Emirates again.

Hi Emirates, I believe the tone in which Shamma Alsalam responded (DXB/X/LS/190719/7538986) to my legitimate complaint of poor passenger treatment on a FlyDubai "code share" flight was overtly dismissive. I would like this matter escalated as I believe the service received on FlyDubai was far from the standards expected for a "code share" partner and greatly different to the standards one expects of Emirates. I feel it is also poor practice for responses to complaints to come from do-not-reply emails. I have written to The Guardian newspaper to tell them about my experience, including being asked to pay for water on a 5.5 hour flight and I will continue to post by distain for such treatment on Emirates social media accounts until such time as someone enters into a satisfactory dialogue and outcome with me.

I can't believe that a company like Emirates could lose my luggage and leave me waiting for more than a month without any response or feedback. I made tens of calls and filed claims and sent pictures and everything. I'm so very disappointed. You lost my the suitcase that had my two little children's clothes and some other extremely important things. Where is my stuff? You ruined my vacation!!!!

Doesn’t make any difference if you keep losing your loyal passengers. Emirates ground staff and assistants over the phone are not trained. I have lost my flight few days ago because of an arrogant ground staff. I have emailed, contacted, and filed for a complaint with no response whatsoever. Shame to experience this after 18 yrs of loyalty to Emirates!
