20 years ago today Peter took me out on our first date. After 8 months of hand written letters, emails and phone calls, he flew to my hometown, stayed in my family’s guest room and Saturday, Aug 14th, we took the train into manhattan to see the off broadway show “Wit”. We held hands on the train ride back, and he kissed me and that was it. I was done for. ❤️🥰😍 For 20 Years, Peter has been my confidante, my greatest cheerleader, my lover, and my best friend. He is a faithful, loving and PATIENT husband and father. He grounds me when the waves of this world I work in threaten to toss me off my feet. He affirms my greatest dreams and helps me walk toward them. He listens with such care and offers such wisdom. I hit the jackpot with him... I really really did. Happy date-aversary Honey. lexirob What a great story! My husband and I were set up as pen pals through a mutual friend. We wrote and emailed for about 6 month while he was in the Army and deployed.
