@kennyhughes6 You’re really stupid, aren’t you? Bc you have to be the slowest person in the world to not comprehend the problem. I thought my simple statement would be enough, but clearly, it was not. You do understand that when you say Black players are still partners with the NFL, that’s the most asinine part of your statement. Which is actually why I stopped half way through. Black players are not PARTNERS with the NFL, they are employees of NFL teams and the NFL. They are written a check, sign contracts, are required to fulfill job duties and can be fired from those job duties. Just bc they make a lot of money, doesn’t mean they’re partners. It’s their job. So yes, they continue to do their jobs and feed and support their families. A lot of Black ppl work for racist corporations and people bc they need to live and take care of their responsibilities. That’s why they play. Jay isn’t an employee of the NFL. He’s a billionaire businessman, who decided to partner with an organization that has blatantly blackballed a player bc he took a side on the wrongdoings towards our people. And unlike many of those players, Jay Z has spoken out against the issue before so for him to turn around and partner with them now, seems odd. But to each its own.

Boy you guys are so small in your thinking all y'all want to do us kneel and protest. Kap kneeling was about police brutality and a host of injustices to our community. and yes is is my Hero, but he settle some of his grievances with a HEALTHY CHECK NO DISCLOSURE, Eric continously kneels and collect millions of dollars while still in the NFL, we been marching and protesting for over 60 years , what's wrong with being and inside man for our voice, Kap shined a BRIGHT light on injustices, and he is now an activist for our causes, he had his approach to the situation and now Jay has his. We can Now sit at the table amongst the oppressor with a voice, we teach team how to treat us, when they come looking for Jay whom once was a street hustler, Kap and Jay and Tip and a host of our people shows us how we started is not always how we finish

@ikonz2015 partnership to manage the music and halftime show production does not give him any power at any table, all it does is vault the boycott by artist who respect Jay Z and get them to play their halftime shows, Jay makes money, NFL makes money, and the world goes on with no change to the actual issues being made, this was about police violent at the start... what has Jay Z done for the issue for him to join hands with those he condemned? This is no power move, this isn’t a game of chess, this is Jay Z’s name being used to manipulate you people AGAIN just like he did with the Barclays centre that continues to cause gentrification and displacement of black people and communities.

Most of everyone with money don’t give a damn about the people and kids that’s in poverty! It’s all a market to them. Like why when people so can give back or do something they always want to make sure that the camera is rolling like. Like I give back to the youth in multiple communities and I don’t care if the world or not. Because it’s about the people that I’m helping because I was once them. We as black people will never get it because we worry about cars clothes and jewelry! Instead trying to make us rise and as the people. We will always be last because it’s not enough of us that wants to be first! @troubleman31

Folks are fake mad. So everyone on here commenting has not watched the NFL or patronized the businesses who advertise with the league? TIP and Jay are friends. You better believe if my friend inked this deal, I’d be happy too. Y’all were mad at everyone in ATL for hosting SuperBowl events as well. But when’s the last time you were at a community meeting or appealed to your Mayor’s office about police reform? Better yet, when’s the last time ANY of you did anything for people that didn’t benefit you. Sit down and give your thumbs a rest.

I love my people but it's funny how quickly we can be bought out. TO THIS DAY, NOT ONE TEAM HAS PICKED UP KAEPERNICK. A KING WHO ACTUALLY STOOD FOR SOMETHING. FOR HIS PEOPLE. He sacrificed it all and here we go supporting the same people who plays a huge part in the oppression of our black athletes... All for a check. 🤔Yeah the movement and purpose is good however,... Who is it really good for? Anyhow, yay Jay-z! I guess. I love your work but I'll pass on this one.
