I went to elementary school at Trinità’ dei Monti at the top of the steps from 1966 to 1969. After school we would often sit on the steps and snack and chat...a very enjoyable memory...its all in the past now. ☀️

I did back in 1998 and 2002. There needs to be a nice compromise, not an all out ban. I use to swim in the Blue Grotto in Capri too, I guess you can’t do that anymore either. 👎🏼

Was there last month, there was a police lady who was blowing her whistle non stop at people trying to sit there. She was very strict! It was quite entertaining to watch. 🤭

Yes we sat there during our visit. It’s a shame that now it’s banned partially also due to misappropriate use of the stairs which potentially could damage the UNESCO site. 😢

What happened to all the people? This spot ALWAYS has people. I was here in the dead of the night in the middle of winter and there were still people hanging around.

Ich arbeite an einem deutschsprachigen Reisemagazin und baue mir gerade einen Channel auf. Freue mich über jeden Besucher! :) 💜
