Injuries suck. I’ve been living with mine for 18 years. But having to accept it as part of my experience has taught me patience, humility and kindness towards myself. If you’re out there trying to heal, be kind to yourself. Thanks @grantrobertsfit for helping me on my most recent journey toward healing and strength. God knows there have been many.

Sooooo much easier said than done. I am a nurse with my masters and I have fallen I'll. Can no longer work and dealing with health issues has become my full time job. It's awful. I'm very hard on myself. I have always been successful, the bread winner, living really well. Its crazy how 3yrs and a crazy terminal illness can rob ones life right away. Hold your health close. Do everything you can to take care of yourself. Always take time for yourself!! Make yourself a priority! For years I put off my health, taking care of everyone else...I always said later...I'll take care of that later...and my later came.

I have severely struggled the last 5 years with constant pain from a car accident injury the week before@my wedding in 2014. I have had rotator/labrum repair and many@many rounds of PT for thoracic outlet syndrome and nothing seems to be the cure. I’m interested to know what your injury is and why this round has you more hopeful towards healing? If you don’t mind sharing?!

Hell yeah, good work!! and good example of talking about recovery and activity without othering people who can’t get the same type of activity or are fat after activity (all of the broken bodies and broken differently) (and weight loss journeys are mythical). Bout to start a new round of PT myself! Inspired 💛💛💛💛

Its nice to hear this. I sometimes don't pay attention. My younger brothers injured. I think he tries to be strong and mask his pain but I know he's hurting while recovering. This post just reminds me to be more attentive and try to be there for my family member. Hope ur well @americaferrera
