Today is #WorldElephantDay ! Elephants are essential to our ecosystems: with their large appetite, they help disperse seeds from dozens of tree species. By doing so, they are not just spreading seeds but also creating pathways for other animals. Elephants are beautiful, kind, intelligent, loyal and self-aware (just like Dumbo!), and it’s very critical that we protect them. Say no to entertainment establishments using elephants and other animals for entertainment. If you are on vacation, please say no to elephant rides. When the riding stops, the abuse will stop.

These great beautiful beasts roam in areas of the world that do not give a rats ass about your little bitty speeches and anti-vacation enjoyment. Believe me, if they’re in “Movies”, “circuses” or etc I’m not gonna stop watching them, petting them, or enjoying them. 🤷🏼‍♂️ #facts

_killingeve_ A lot of people are trying to save those animals but unfortunately not enough, so basically we have absolutely no power. That's sad but it's the truth, same thing for global warming, if people don't realize it by themselves, then we could be trying all we want but still nothing. Unfortunately that's how it is, and it's just sad

samrandom Elephants are so majestic, it’s so sad how they are treated. Also you should no elephant products like ivory ornaments or their ivory Tusks, elephant poaching is just cruel and disgusting!
