Last night whilst travelling through Central Bulgaria I found the burial place of a Thracian King from 4th Century BC. Such incredible moments have continued from Mount Gargano in Southern Italy, seeking the place where Crixus died, where I found the ruins of an ancient Greek civilization, to finding a Sphinx in a river near Chania in Crete & beside it a mountain with a sun worshipping Temple at its summit. In all these discoveries the appearance of white cows has been consistent, symbolic of Io the ancient Greek High Priestess who was historically turned into a heifer by Zeus for defying him. Io become a deity for female power in the ancient world, proving no man was God. If this sounds interesting to women out there, read about Io! not as a mythology, but in the context of an historical event. Still regarding Io, there has been the recurring presence of gadfly (commonly referred to as horse fly) which Hera, Zeus' jealous wife, set upon the cow incarnation to chase her into the Bosphorus, leading to Turkey & Egypt. Again read about Egypts first sun worshipping Temple "Heliopoli" a Greek word meaning Helios-Poli or Sun City. In Bulgaria last night I was meant to be heading to another region & literally a road-sign diverted my course completely to find this Thracian King's grave & temple lit up beneath the moon. Ever since following Crixus to Italy, a wonderful magnetic energy has been repeating itself but Io's story remains central. It paved events that shaped the modern world & likely restrictions on women, a story which unfolded circa 4000-3000bc. I "feel" that Io was killed & this action by Zeus, proved he was no man god, Ios' followers returning to worship Ra (from Greek Au'ra, meaning "my light") (Maori Ora means same) During the century before & after the birth of Christ & Christianity these societies were systematically wiped from the face of the earth to pave way for Christianity. Light - God? There should be no difference. Are the various systems of Church & State forcing control? Light is THE constant in all religions, less complicated than so many multiple interpretations. pselston I don't think these systems were wiped from the world to pave the way for Christianity. Some were here at the same time. Civilizations evolve with education and enlightenment. Light is the essence of Christianity. Older civilizations knew this and used their symbols to represent this before Christianity. As for the evolution of women in society so many civilizations had women equal or were run by women. Some didn't. For me it is the conquest and warring and mixing of cultures that ultimately decided placment of the sexes and the value of the elderly. We as individuals get to choose whether or not we follow the light today. I choose to follow Jesus who is the light of the world. Consequently, my name Prakash, which is Sikh means light in the darkness. But every life is or can be a light in our world.

burak.berslan We live in a world where most children forced to believe their parents' religion. I think that is absolutely wrong because of the absence of the objectivity. For me every parent should give knowledge to their children and wait for them to decide at the right age. Perhaps they can try to convince their childen then (I am talking about convincing not forcing...)
