You know the saying: After the rain, comes a full #LakeMcKenzie! 😉 @yaaannnnnnn absolutely loved the colour of this perched lake on @fraserisland, which is fed entirely by rainwater. As one of the most popular natural attractions on @queensland’s @visitfrasercoast, this #lake isn’t fed by streams and doesn’t flow to the ocean; the rainwater is retained by the sand and organic matter at the base instead. Walk along the soft white sand, take a swim in its incredibly pure water, and stick around till sunset to see how the light brings out the blues and greens of the water.
