When I was 9 years old, meeting my idol, Picabo Street, changed my life. It had such an impact on me that I founded The Lindsey Vonn Foundation in 2015. I am proud to play a small part in making kids lives’ better by inspiring them to reach for their goals and to never give up. This week was very special because first, I hosted a special thank you party for my Foundation’s top donors, sponsors, and my close friends: (@dan_churchill @ferraritrento @gobelladesign @レッドブル @jamesandschulze @lukebarrmc @elanartists ) Second, we officially launched our @DICKSSportingGoods Foundation and LVF’s new Sports Matter Scholarships. We have the exact picture of you with our girls at Pierce Skate & Ski in Bloomington. One our favorites. Thank you for the fun of following your career. They raced from age 9 all the way through high school because of that meeting.

Had a picabo pic on my wall right under Bonnie Blair growing up - didn't ever get into skiing aside from a hobby but their dominance and fearlessness was still an inspiration!! ♥️
