At the end of last year when I was deciding whether or not to give it another go and reinvent Design*Sponge in a way that might keep us going on our own terms, I had the pleasure of working with @leavesandletterforms on a revised DS logo. It felt right to go back to original hand-lettered logo after all these years. We ended up deciding to close, but these designs that Erin made were so fun. And seeing a grown up version of the original hand made logo (that @juliarothman drew 💛) was so meaningful. 15 years is a long time to put into any project and this was without a doubt well worth every second of it.
