Of course we are all interesting aesthetically but I think many of us feel it’s hard to show the qualities we place value on when we are communicating on social media. Curiosity, empathy, drive, kindness, humour. What ever our strengths are the more visual side of things seems to take precedence and then our own value system gets a little warped. bestchildfriendlyholidays It was so inspiring when @bodyposipanda said this in your interview with her at the festival last weekend. It’s so very true. get so frustrated about photos and images, we are bombarded by beautiful images of pretty faces and tiny bodies but they tell us nothing about what lies beneath. I look at pictures of my ancestors and think, who were you though, really? I wonder if there’s a similar way to capture all those wonderful things about us that aren’t about the way we look. I value my kindness the most...but you can’t see it in a photo. Love @bestchildfriendlyholidays xxx

lisa.killick.39 Thank you for this post. Mine is my Positivty, throughout my journey. Fighting Ovarian Cancer, a year ago today i had my Big Operation in Brighton Hospital thinking i would be free. Sadly not, ill keep fighting and getting up everyday. Im 50 in October, and will again Celebrate. Have a good day and weekend fearne cotton.

dollfin74 This is spot on @fearnecotton 💜🙌🏼 So true. Who you are as a person & the values that you hold dear & the way you are, doesn’t always come across on social media. What I value most about myself is my kindness, my compassion & my ability to want to always help others & make things better for everyone. 👍🏼

abbalishious_townson87 I Value my sincerity and kindness. My ability to move forward or past certain life challenges on my own(but never forgetting who helped along the way) and also being ok being on my own without needing someone to fulfil it...You're such an inspiration @fearnecotton Thank you for all you do. ❤️

nicolasowden68 Totally agree fearne there is so much more too each of us than just the way we look. Just wish the younger generation were taught this from the minute they could understand because social media & reality tv just doesn't seem to teach them this it's all about what you look like & what you got

raindrops79 Love this 💜 In my job I use colouring during my 1-1 sessions. It allows students to open up/talk whilst their mind is elsewhere. I use a lot of ‘quote colouring’ as it becomes a conversation starter. This one would be perfect 👌🏽.
