crysypumkin Actually in your scenario about the email. I won't use they or them if I didn't know their gender. I would use Mr / Miss. Because I would be responding to one person. With this "language system", is it safe to say that every professional who teaches grammar should no longer subscribe to what they themselves were taught and should now change the way they teach language based on a minority? Just asking!
