So this happened this week... my brain is full of excitement, my heart is a little sad and my body wishes it could still carry them in my womb... my independent little girl did not cry or whine or worry when we dropped her off on her first day of pre school, although mama surely hid a few tears as she walked out the door. I could not be more proud of my little girl and her wonderfully loving protective older brother who even offered to carry her stuff♥️

Portanto isto aconteceu esta semana... o meu cérebro está entusiasmado, o meu coração está triste e o meu corpo quer voltar a tê-los dentro do ventre... a minha filhota independente não chorou nem fez birra quando a deixámos na escola no seu primeiro dia, apesar da mamã ter escondido uma ou outra lágrima. Não podia estar mais orgulhosa da minha filha e do seu mano incrivelmente amável e protector, que ainda se ofereceu para lhe carregar as coisas ♥️

It's so true that it's a mix of feeling proud and excited as they step into another stage in life and also some tears remembering when you brought that beautiful being into the world. I look at these photos and realize my daughter now steps into her last year of University and my son is officially 16(oy). It has flown by... my babies are now my lovely young people. longtimesoccermom When my daughter started preschool I was hysterical. When she started kindergarten I was hysterical. When she started high school I was hysterical. When she started college I was hysterical. This year she starts her junior year in college and spent the whole summer away from home. Yes. I was hysterical when she left. She comes home in a couple of days. At which time I will be crying hysterically again. It never ends. Hahaha
