Today is a sad sad day.
It is with my deepest regret to tell you that our beloved Nicky Wonder passed away last night in his sleep.

We are in a state of shock as you can imagine.

But we are going to honor him with tonights show.
Nicky was my favorite guitar player ever. I always loved the way he used his fingers. He was a real Rock and Roll guy and great singer too.

He was a friendly and very nice person and he was really really funny. He had the best sense of humor.

We are all crying today, he will be missed beyond words.

Our hearts go out to his wife Susan and his entire family, friends and fans.

We love you Nicky.. Love & Mercy

backtothelight Shocked and saddened to hear of Nick's passing. Prayers and love to his family and friends. He was so distinctive on stage and so incredibly talented. I was fortunate to have been able to chat with him after a couple of Brian's shows. Truly a bright light has been dimmed.

comediangusarredondo @brianwilsonlive my deepest condolences. I have seen Nick play with your band numerous times since you started touring again have met him at the Roxy show. He truly was a nice guy and he was such a talent. He will be deeply missed. RIP Nick Walusko.

jsbfla Saw one of the first shows of the 'Imagination' tour in 1999 at the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA. It was magical, and I've probably made nearly one show a year since then. Thank you, Nicky.
