This encounter floored me...this is my 2nd movie that I have done that has been based off of a true story. The 1st was the "The Upside" which was an unbelievable story....Now I'm doing "Fatherhood" which is a movie based off of Matthew Logelin's life. What this man has been thru is unreal....he is the definition of Tru strength in my eyes...he lost his wife after she delivered their baby at the hospital. His life took a turn that he never saw coming....while facing his darkest moment in his life he was left with the responsibility of raising his child. Nobody believed in him or his ability to step up to the plate...but he did it. It was hard and grueling but he found a way to pour all of the love he had into his daughter "Madeline " because that's what his wife would have wanted him to do....Matt & Maddy came to visit us on set today...both of their smiles bought a different type of energy to our set. I'm in awe of their story and even more so of this opportunity. Their bond is inseparable and rightfully so. I can't wait for the world to see what this man and his daughter made it thru.....#Fatherhood #ComingSoon #MeAndMelodyAeeDoingOurBestToMakeYouProud ....Trust me when I tell you that this is a movie that we all need to see. The movie gives an amazing Message to ALL FATHERS 💪🏾

@jeanette_beddaoui its not that its supposed to be a big deal its just the facts of the story dont blame a guy kevin for being inspired buy another guys/fathers story maybe another actress could make a single moms movie or make it yourself or whatever but hes not making it a big deal about being a single father the deal is what he went thru..go find more people or women that went through tge exact same thing and go make a movie and stop bitchin

@imrileyjane are you a friend of hers? Perhaps she doesn’t want to be in the limelight? And also, the book was written before she came Into the picture so depending how far the movie takes things it may not even come into play. Is there a reason you feel the need to comment to a bunch of people about her? Do you feel that it somehow takes away from what Matt went thru because he dated someone a few years after his wife died?

@bluearies77 the fact Kevin literally says in the description that she is IN THE PICTURE should have led your power of observation to surmise that the person on the left is Maddie. It isn't rocket science. So she doesn't look girlie. Does that blow your mind? It isn't a big deal.
