The Duke of Rothesay yesterday visited businesses and met residents in the Scottish town of Beauly.

At @campbellsofbeauly, a family-run business which has been operating in the same premises in Beauly since 1858, HRH opened the new tailoring workshop and met staff including tailors and seamstresses. 🧵

Campbell’s of Beauly supports @theprincesfoundation Future Textiles training initiative, which provides training in traditional skills including sewing, weaving and cutting. The programme aims to encourage young people to consider a career in the Scottish textiles industry.

The Duke also visited other local shops in the town, including an antique store and a deli and grocer.

bee.driven_hive.mind Campbells are known in my state to protect the right to rationally revolt, by law; though I am the last related to the hereditary line, which follows Rothesayers laws for expouses, or limiting relationships after valors are past due, the residents with the same name are often fiercely proud of the reputation, as theirs should be & haves. I am a brain scrambled guy, no longer a kid, but still hold the honor of highest contribute to hereditary arts, especially weaving & such. My work was held near the Senechal (sp?), & would be happy as a clam should the ladies of the family I served ready review of the work I was asked to provide, should the old man Prince chose to follow his first nation's habit of weaving in retirement. I believe my old title was confusing to some...called Kimonos & other local heritage arts you missed.
