costradeinc It seems all these offers by emirates has more to it than meets the eye,.... once the booking is done, it's a song, every time I make a booking and being a skywards member, have to re-request my meal preference, the booking accepts it, but nothing on board, today I experienced the same, had my gluten free meal showing on the booking, after checking in on line, the gf meal disappeared and showed a reg meal, contacted emirates on '600555555' and 'A' Mr Bon was on line, after a long winding verification, heard my request for a GF meal for my flight 22 hours away, simply narrated as briefed, I will put in a request but not guaranteeing the meal, Last 3 flights, I did not get a meal, Why does EK do this, is it a policy to save on special meals or incapable lower staff, please reply, you record conversations, hear it.
