arilevkaye You were never given permission to photograph Sherbat Gula, the girl who launched your career. She was an Afghani refugee living in Pakistan. I can’t believe you forced her to comply with taking the picture. Shame on you for using people pictures for personal gain when you didn’t get permission from them, especially considering their compromised situation.

hamibontula Did you have the child’s and their parent’s consent when you took this photo? Did you compensate them for this? Did they get ANYTHING from you taking and using this photo? Or was this a repeat of Sherbat Gula’s situation where you took advantage of people in power to force children into being the subject of your unethical photoshoots?

lndsy_k She looks scared. Did she consent to this photo? Did you ask her family or guardian? Did you compensate her or do you simply profit off the vulnerable communities and people you photograph without ethical boundaries?

camillelouisepotter @stevemccurryofficial should ask his subject their names, record them and consider giving them compensation as he takes their photographs and seems to be quite successful and making money off of them.
