How to make a financial donation to El Paso shooting victims:

Blood donations are being accepted for patients in critical condition Vitalent Blood Services at 424 S. Mesa Hills Drive and 133 N. Zaragoza Road in El Paso.
Donations are also being accepted at 1200 Commerce Dr in Las Cruces, which will be open until 5 p.m. Saturday.
*The Mesa Hills and Zaragoza locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. To make an appointment, go to bloodhero.com or call 877-258-4825 to make an appointment to donate. *Lyft offers free rides to donate blood: Lyft is offering free rides to those individuals donating at designated blood centers. A family reunification center will be set up for people who may have been separated from their loved ones or worried they were involved in a shooting at an El Paso Walmart. 
The reunification center will be set up at McCarthur Middle School  on Whitus Drive. *HOW TO GET CRISIS COUNSELING HELP: If you were near the shooting and need some comfort or counseling, call the Crisis Text Line, free 24/7 support for those in crisis. atkinwalm It is so scary to think, that a mass shooting is sadly becoming a part of Americas every day life. Here in Australia we have gun laws. A lot of Americas believe, these laws take away rights and have the impression guns are not allowed. These a both misconception, we have the right to have a gun. However we must take a test and pass, must not have a criminal record and must have a reason. For e.g property, the need to shoot foxes, etc. You can't carry a gun, without reason for transport and it must at all times, other than use and transport, must be locked in a gun specific safe bolted to the ground. These laws are in place to protect everyone's safety. We do not have a mass shooting every day in Australia. This is why. If Americans could adopt these laws, instead of feeling it's taking away freedom and more Guns will solve the problem. Maybe innocent people wouldn't die as often. Just a food for thought. Today was truly a nightmare. At work today there were police walking around with rifles. It’s hard to feel safe anymore here. Our city of El Paso TX will never be the same.
