Now you have your phone in your hand - please call your representative on 202 225 3121 and your senators on 202 224 3121 and ask them to please support the SAFE Act.  Let’s unite for American horses.  Just make the call and we truly can put an end to the brutal practice of horse slaughter for human consumption in the US and the export of American horses for slaughter.  Please call and urge them to support the SAFE Act (HR961) & (S2006) and make sure horses like Willie, Dorothy, Redford and Eastwood never end up in a Kill Pen ever.

When the horse population exponentially grows, what will be our solution to being inevitably overrun, much as we are now with deer? Whatever it is it can't be random or involuntary, it needs to be legislated --- "it" being controlling their birth rate going in --- putting the horse before the cart instead of the cart before the horse, so-to-speak.
