In March 2017, Amin Dzhabrailov was taken by three men in uniform from the salon in the Chechen capital of #Grozny where he worked. He was handcuffed and forced into a car. They took his phone, demanded his password and started scouring the device for messages and photos that would prove he was guilty of something considered deeply shameful in the conservative, predominantly Muslim republic: being gay. Dzhabrailov, now 27, is one of at least dozens of men who were detained and tortured in an anti-gay “purge” that took place in #Chechnya in 2017, according to news reports, #humanrights organizations and European agencies. He is one of the first to go on the record about his experience and reveal his identity in the media, reports Katy Steinmetz, though he fears retaliation against himself and his family. Dzhabrailov, who later fled to Moscow and then Canada, wants to draw attention to the ongoing persecution of gay people in his homeland. It’s dangerous to tell his story. But two years in North America, including participation in #NYC’s annual #pride march this year, have helped him summon the courage. “It’s also dangerous not telling,” he says, “because this is going to continue.” Read more at the link in bio. @unitednationshumanrights @facebook @disney @sonymusicaustralia @atlanticrecords This is what a pilot can prevent. Not just homophobia issues but a range of issues that world suffers from. People have got to know though. You can't keep people in the dark with this technology when you have real issue's that carry real danger that effects peoples actual reality. You just can't. I am greatful and honoured to be apart of such amazing family. But too think that my metal state pushed me to the brink of destruction just because is just disgusting, all of witch could have been avoided .When the world has real issue's it is the task if the modern day artist to inspire with what he or she has access too. And that is how you will keep our industry alive. Real people, real choices, real consequence. Real music. And all Standing under the same tree. That is my opinion any ways. Weather its worth anything to anyone is totally on them or yourself. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

You know I am from Russia and yes, this is Really happening, not only in Chehnya, but everywhere here.. A group of men called themselves as "male state" are doong horrible things :they are threatening, they are bullying, and they are killing people, who are not straight. And, btw, we do not have a law that protects victims of domestic violence. People here are going out rally, people here are trying to protect themselves and people here are being beat by the Police. But all of this - it is not Russians. It is all about the government. WE are NOT homophobes here. And we try to fight.

This happens not only in chechnya but everywhere in russia. Not only gay people are suffering. It’s just not fair because US media “divide et impera”. Chechnya is Russia. So if you have something to say, say it to putin. His man is ruling in chechnya!!! This ethnic group suffered a lot because of this sort provocation!!!

It’s incredible that in modern times there’s still no knowledge and comprehension to LGBT community. Rights are not in negotiation, that’s why they are RIGHTS, and every single person should be happy and free to live everywhere...
