This is the Senior +45 Sportsmen class. No ex-pro from SX/MX who scored points is allowed in it, including 47-year-old Mike Brown. There is also a Vet +30 class that is Sportsman. If are between 30 and 39 or 45 and up and were never a pro you don’t have to worry about Mike Brown and friends in these two classes at @lorettalynnmx #motocross. There are three Vet classes that welcome ex-pros: +25, +40 and +50 #moto #thisismoto #lorettalynnmx

Lol definitely have his X - pro friends in both of those classes , they just couldn’t hack it as pros when they had a shot at it and didn’t score in top twenty. In my opinion they should have one ex pro class and call it +25 pro and let these bad ass guys who had a pro license or hold one race it out as we all know brownie can hang with 25 year old pros he just raced a Canadian national and I believe finished 7th . Regardless , let the guys who are truly amateurs and never had a opportunity to turn pro . After all the true local vets put a lot more money back into the sport than brownie does by spending money on apparel and bikes . turns out at regionals /qualifiers would grow knowing that they could have a shot at going instead of throwing in the towel and going back to work for a living

I don’t understand how pros can retire or step away from professional motocross and supercross then go back to amateur just to mop up the competition.. should be separate classes or even just scored separately to everyone else within the race/Moro if you’re an ex pro. Give everyone else a fighting chance of some recognition!

Not completely true, still have ex-pros in those classes. They just weren't quite fast enough to score points. Rule should at least be never had pro license, adding never ran A class or open pro sport would at least make it an obtainable goal for some of us that never made it past B class at the local level.

I still think there should be a “vet” class for people who have never held a pro card of any sort. Because some guys were still good enough to get pro licenses and can race these sportsman classes. Hard for your weekend guys to stack up against them.
