In case you didn’t know, these rays are manta be great snorkelling buddies! 😉 @ashkaras swam with this giant #mantaray while cruising through the @gbrmarinepark near @orpheusisland, a private island just off the coast of @townsvillenorthqueensland. These majestic creatures’ wingspan can go up to seven metres, so it’s extra impressive when the males show off their acrobatic skills to compete for female attention. Many of them call @queensland’s #GreatBarrierReef home, so lucky for you, you can pretty much see and swim with them year-round.
