Happy Swiss National Day! 🇨🇭
As I'm celebrating my home country in spirit, I'm revising (and bringing to my lesson) Brahms' 2nd Violin Sonata, also known as the "Thuner Sonate". He wrote this sonata, amongst other works, in the canton of Bern in Switzerland 😊

Since Aspen (where I'm at right now) looks quite similar to Switzerland, it makes things easier to envision the calm yet joyful mood and the landscapes of green mountains and lakes. I like the phrasing and climb to the peak of the phrasing that I'm shaping. However, I'm currently working on getting my rhythmical integrity into better shape - essential for some of Brahms' expressive musical statements! - and I also find my sequence too similar and repetitive-sounding to eachother. Let's work on it! 😊
