A visual reminder that year-over-year improvements can look small, but these 2 pieces of tech are just 9 years apart 🤓

@brandonhemoi dude you may have used their phones (which are great BTW) but I'm more of a desktop user like I have used Mac (UNIX [kernal btw]), Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Solus, etc)[distros btw], windows (pure shit btw), and I respect Apple for there hand in making the world a better place to live in! But did you notice that they only have a hand with millions of other tech companies out there. Your comments are only directed towards giving APPLE the CREDIT, you should have added a GIVE ALL THE COMPANIES, THEIR RESPECTED CREDIT! Cause everyone had a hand in developing and revolutionizing this modern age. And your comments being only directed towards Apple lead me to believe that you're a Apple fan boy. So I apologise for my false accusation. Thanks you. [Btw I love Apple's memory management but they really have to do something about their prices 😒]

It's not that easy on my Nexus 5X. Samsung may have made it easy, but that doesn't mean it is on all Android devices unfortunately. Most people I know with Android phones have Sonys believe it or not, and it's not easy on those either. Maybe their latest models make it easy. AirDrop is essentially WiFi direct negotiated over Bluetooth and it's so effortless no matter what iPhone model you have. And most people I know have iPhones. I hope it will be as effortless in the next Android version, but the sad truth is that most Android users won't see that version for months if ever.

@kaizakiren I get that, but I do give everyone their credit. People typically shy away when Apple comes up though, that’s my point. And I agree with you on a lot of their pricing, not all though. But yes, the iPhones are too damn expensive, so is the Mac mini, the HomePod, etc. I could never buy those products brand new tbh. I’d have to go used out at the least, refurbished. I just wanted to give credit to the things they helped in developing, that’s all it is.

@sabit_arafat definitely one of them. Fact is, Apple were the first to introduce the likes of multi touch in a smartphone, that alone was a game changer. I haven't actually owned an iPhone, but credit where it's due, the first few iPhones were leaps and bounds above every other smartphone out there. I remember buying a Samsung omnia and ended up selling it as it was absolute shite. Then I bought the HTC hero, which was basically showcasing androids potential.
