NASA TV (link in bio) is broadcasting live Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. EDT the launch and docking of a Russian cargo ship to the station in just 3.5 hours with almost three tons of gear for the Expedition 60 crew.
Launch: 8:10 a.m.
Docking: 11:35 a.m.

3 tons is a lot of cargo, last year alone there were more than 350 rocket launches that were made public to online records( that’s one a day if not more) Even if you took half that # 150ish and times that by 3 tons where is all that “cargo going”

What the hell is everyone sending up into space. Every week I hear of at least two rockets going off. The ISS cannot be big enough to keep intercepting all these loads. Where is all the stuff going?

@everydayastronaut why does this Soyuz take only 3.5 hours while an F9 Dragon takes 3 days? Location of station or a heartier boost?
