@coreytaylor - When I was 14 years old and Vol. 3 was coming out, I was thinking that Slipknot betrayed itself for not going for something as heavy and dark as Iowa, and I can never be sorry enough for thinking that back then. Growing up places thing back in perspective and I get it now. Especially after all the coverage and interviews you guys did. I don’t think that anymore and deep-dived-in maggots needs to understand it too. I don’t think you guys betrayed yourself on the contrary, and I’m more than grateful for you having done what you have done. @slipknot still holds so much place in my life and I can’t be more hyped for WANYK even if puriat are saying it’s not like Iowa. But get over it people. They are still true to their roots and their love for music. After 20years, you want to try things, do things differently or try differently. This comment might be overlooked, but please, to all the maggots out there, stop blabbing about Slipknot is dead because it’s not Iowa, it will never be and we should be adult enough to understand those man who are atill putting out awesome kickass misic nonetheless. Also, be glad that the Iowa-era is long gone, not for your music taste, but for the lives of those 9 guys. They went through shit during that time (here I am talking without even knowing the guys) but the music reflect their take on life and I think positivity is more impactfull than pure hatred.
