downesdesign @vistacyclingtours If you go off the TT circuit, it’s all kinds of lush. There’s a road off the Sulby straight, more or less opposite the Sulby pub, which runs up through the woods, past a large reservoir and eventually brings you up to the Bungalow. I’m not saying that’s where Cav’s photo is from, but there’s plenty of land that looks like this all round the slopes of the mountain section. It could also be somewhere in the hills to the east of Ramsey. Or somewhere around Laxey. How about it, @markcavendish? Am I in the ballpark?

downesdesign @vistacyclingtours I beg to differ! The TT is amazing! If you only ever see it on tv, sure, you get a limited insight, but those of us lucky enough to attend regularly spend all the non-racing time exploring the beautiful landscape. Over the years, I’ve been all over the island and consider it one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I’d never have gone were it not for the TT!
