ire_neire Many plastic discards end up in landfills even in the sea. Animals drink this poisoning water and many of them death. So, we must get involved and reduce our wastes in order to dicrease our carbon foot print in the planet. Some ideas would be to install a osmosis system which filter the water so it would avoid to buy plastic bottles of water. Moreover, you can use reusable shopping fabric bags. All this among others will help to take care our habitat. I love nature and I would like continue to enjoying it. And, like Neil Armstrong said "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"

emmagraceco It’s wild how much plastic is used at the retail store I work at alone 🥵 I wish there was a way for big corporations or department stores to do this better because we go through so many plastic bags not just with customers but also return shipments that we load into boxes to create massive pallets full items in plastic bags, as well as many other parts of the store and online ordering. I don’t even know what to do

ktineall The amount of waste we go through in one day is ridiculous. If you’ve ever worked in retail such as Target you can see just how much product is made of plastic and how much is being thrown away and not being recycled. How much trash we go thru just receiving products off a truck. Everything is wrapped in plastic. Hundreds of consumables are being made that are completely unnecessary.

ashley_fuery Thank you ❤❤ the amount washing up on our beaches in S. Florida has increased exponentially over the past few years. Sometimes they're almost completely covered..that isn't normal or natural. So glad this issue is receiving the attention it deserves!
